Servant,

You are correct in that the Inspired Version speaks of Jesus saying, "You never knew me," instead of the other versions reading, "I never knew you."  This is a big difference and one worthy of note.  Yet that wasn't the reason I posted that piece from Rick Joyner.  But I do understand that each of us picks up that portion which speaks to us.

Why I posted this is that it speaks of our possessions and all that we are called to give up to be a true disciple of Jesus.  Part of this is our maturing process where our minds are not fixed on things of the earth, rather on things above.  Everything belongs to the Lord Jesus and he tells us that everything he has is ours.  Yet in the dream I had ripped pants and an old suit.  Does this mean that I must go out in a truly humble way?  To care nothing about myself and trusting that the Lord will give me exactly what I need in the moment I need it?

This is what I got from the message Rick Joyner offered and why I posted it.  But thank you for pointing out how the verse he used is worded different in the Inspired Version.  Yet do you believe this changes the core message of his writing regarding our possessions?
