Very sobering indeed. We need to keep ourselves so hid in Christ that that sin conscience can not work in us.
that is why we must think on the things that are stated in Phlippians. The whole of the book really, and chpt.4:v6, is such a rich verse to think on.
Yes I was raised on the "fire insurance" line too. And we were a poor family, so I only hoped that my nickels and dimes that I gave, were helping
me stay safe.
In the new testament church they had all things common so that sort of helped with the tithing thing.
I have yet to learn many things. But the parts I have learned have changed my life.
