I woke once, in the night, speaking in tongues.....

When we sleep...our minds are in "idle" and so are our bodies. Our spirits are more available for instruction and receiving.

Dreams are spiritual. They are touching the eternal part of us. That is why time is meaningless in dreams.....a moment may last a long time....and a long time, but a moment.

The gifts are often paired.....dreams and interpretation.....visions and interpretation.....faith and miracles.....faith and healing....wisdom and knowledge. God is the author and finisher.....wisdom asks the question.....knowledge answers....it is all God.

I dream every night. I try to go back over them every morning. If the television gets turned on as soon as I wake.....it can get in the way...and I will have to ask the Holy Spirit to bring it back. Not all dreams are of God. If one is afflicted with evil dreams, authority should be taken over them in Jesus name.

Interpretation...like prophesy...is not something you can just think up. We are used to running our lives with our minds. We are supposed to be led by the Spirit. Thinking leads to presumption, presumption (if continued long enough) can be come tradition. Jesus warned against traditions.

Interpretation is like looking over God's shoulder and seeing what He is doing.

God is a creator....He is creative.....look how many ways Jesus healed.....He was being creative. If we believe that by thinking we can get spiritual things...we will miss much...if not the important things.

There is a framework, to the word of God....a fence..laws....limits...that He will work within. But within that framework is limitless creativeness.
