Glad to hear that everyone is doing okay here. I have missed you all. It's funny how cancer can kind of monopolize your time and energy, when you would
much rather be doing other things. ![]()
But it will also draw you a lot closer to God than you might have even realized. My current treatment will be finished on June 15th, and then I will go on
to the daily oral medication, which is far less invasive.
I have also been visiting a family member in jail, every week. I agree that the jail atmosphere is dark and oppresive. People are treated as animals, rather
than beloved children of God, or even as human. I pray that one day I will be able to work in a capacity with those in jail/prison. They are truly the bruised
and broken-hearted.
