I never felt like I was out of my body....just flying in my dream.

I have, during a dream, realized I was dreaming. I was just standing there.....aware it was all a dream Some people were about to attack me. I turned to them and said boldly, "What are you going to do?" They realized I knew they were just part of my dream...and ran away. I have had that several times...being aware of dreaming while I am dreaming.

I guess the closest I have been to being out...

I always used to have flying dreams- they were awesome! And then I read a book where it talked about your spirit being able to leave your body while you sleep and your spirit is able to fly around or sometimes you are taught by angels at that time. I thought it was interesting and the next flying dream I had, I really looked around and I recognized where I was at....

I believe if you have a moment when you first wake up, a moment of quiet....you will be able to start re-seeing what you were dreaming.
I find having the TV or radio on will often be too much crosstalk and blow it away. Then, I have to ask the Lord for help seeing it again.

You might ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you were dreaming. It will be like training...

I can usually tell when one of my dreams is spiritual, although the interpretation of that dream is not always clear. Even after I pray about it afterwards, it still isn't always clear. I often dream but don't remember the dream when I awake. My wife will tell me I was talking in my sleep or I was moving around in the bed, but I don't remember having any particular dream. Then of course there are the silly dreams like the old falling off the cliff one where I wake up bouncing on...

Perhaps, if we were to ask God about dreams....He would say "My thoughts are not your thoughts......My dreams are not your dreams"....perhaps...

In regards to regular dreams, it is true that probably 99% of them are just our subconscious mind working things out. Sometimes it is useful, sometimes not.

And definately, there are dreams that can be inspired by the Enemy of our soul, as well, even as Servant spoke about.
I have had to ask God to guard my dreams at times, and have had to do this for my wife twice in the past when she was being attacked in this manner. It is certainly an avenue through which Satan can bring an...

wow- I never really thought of dreams like that! Thank you both for sharing. i have dreams- some of them I can tell are just meaningless gibberish of my brain being too full and not taking enough time during the day to really reflect or meditate and get rid of stuff- so I think my dreams help clear my mind sometimes. Other dreams- ones that are really vivid- I can tell the difference- they have really shaped my life.
I think I tend to see them as very literal for the most part, but...

I woke once, in the night, speaking in tongues.....

When we sleep...our minds are in "idle" and so are our bodies. Our spirits are more available for instruction and receiving.

Dreams are spiritual. They are touching the eternal part of us. That is why time is meaningless in dreams.....a moment may last a long time....and a long time, but a moment.

The gifts are often paired.....dreams and interpretation.....visions and interpretation.....faith...

I wanted to share some of the things the Lord has shown me regarding Spiritual Dreams.

I am a dreamer. It doesn't happen all the time, but depending on the need ... maybe 2-3 times a year, I experience a spiritual dream, which is a communication from God. These dreams began long ago ... when I was in highschool. Long before I gave my life to the Lord. Back then, they were almost entirely warnings, keeping me back from destruction, and calling me to repentance. Since giving my...
